To prevent fire, injury, or damage, always follow these safety guidelines:

Burn within sight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from flammable items. Do not place near curtains, paper, bedding, or other combustible materials.

Keep away from children and pets. Candles are not toys and should be placed out of reach.

Use on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Avoid drafts, vents, or air currents.

Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow wax to cool and solidify before relighting.

Trim wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before each use to prevent excessive flame or smoke.

Stop use when ½ inch (1.25 cm) of wax remains to prevent overheating of the container.

Never move a burning candle—wait until wax has completely cooled.
